I'm Julia — a freelance creative producer and project manager from Rotterdam, with a love for events that move, surprise and connect people. I've been in the events world since 2016: I started out at WINK, moved up at Eventions, and have been freelancing since 2021. Whether it's a festival, a film night under the stars or a brand activation: bringing ideas to life makes me happy, from the very first concept to the final teardown. I believe in teamwork, clear communication and a rock-solid production that still leaves room for spontaneity and atmosphere — down to the smallest detail.

I love working with great teams on projects that make an impact and stay with people. A little rebellious if possible, but above all: real. 💛

Seventeen nights of film under the stars on the Kop van Zuid, with me as head producer responsible for the entire production. Blood, sweat and tears went into this Rotterdam icon — and I'm so grateful I got to be part of it.

26 wonderful (international) events over ten festival days. The role where everything came together: from drinks at City Hall and an evening at Depot Boijmans to a press conference at Fenix and the world premieres of the Displacement Film Fund films, with Cate Blanchett, at the Oude Luxor.

Into The Great Wide Open

Vlieland always feels like coming home. As site manager of the Stortenmelk and the Bolder, I earned the nickname 'Stortenqueen' in my first year. Four beautiful and very different editions, with the most stunning sunrises and Bolder nights that will never be the same again.

Left of the Dial is a raw, discovery-driven showcase festival in Rotterdam where you find the best up-and-coming indie and alternative acts before they break through. I spent three brilliant days here as ticketing coordinator — what a special festival, with a fantastic team and seriously great marketing!
