Privacy statement

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Julia Harinck ("I", "me") values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data I process when you contact me via this website, and what your rights are. It has been drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who am I?

Julia Harinck — freelance creative producer & event manager, based in Rotterdam.

Which data do I process?

If you fill in the contact form (the postcard), I process:

Why, and on what legal basis?

I use this data solely to respond to your message and, if it leads to a project, to communicate with you about it. The legal basis is your consent and/or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

How long do I keep it?

I don’t keep your data longer than necessary. If your message doesn’t lead to further contact or a project, I delete it no later than 12 months after receipt. Data relating to a project is kept for as long as the law requires (including the 7-year retention period for tax purposes).

Sharing with others

I don’t share your data with third parties, except where necessary to carry out a project or to comply with a legal obligation. Any processors (such as my email or hosting provider) only process data on my instructions.

Cookies

This website places no tracking or analytics cookies. To see how often the site is visited, I use GoatCounter: a cookie-free counter that stores no personal data. It only sees anonymous details, such as which page is viewed, which site referred you, your browser, screen width and country. Your IP address is not stored.

Your rights

You have the right to view, correct or delete your data, and to withdraw your consent. To do so, email me at hi@juliaharinck.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
